Canvasback was founded in the early 1990s by Missy, an energetic outdoor enthusiast from Ketchum, Idaho. As an avid skier and dog owner, she was frustrated with how her vehicle's back end would constantly get dirty and damaged from wet skis, muddy sports gear, and her dogs. To solve this problem, she innovated a waterproof, fabric cargo liner that not only covered the cargo area but also extended up the back of the seats in her SUV, offering total protection and functionality.
